LUCKY CHILI COOK-OFF

On November, Friday the 13th, we will have a chili supper. Bring your best chili and enter the contest. Also, and especiaslly if you aren't bringing chili, we'd ask you to bring a dessert to share. Let us know by E-mail if you are coming so that we can adequately prepare. us. Thanks.

BIBLE BEE

Several of the children of our church participated in the National Bible Bee. We are proud of each of them. This is a program that encourages knowledge of God's Word through memorization of verses, learning the answers to Bible knowledge questions and studying particular books of the Bible (in 2009 emphasizing Genesis, 1 and 2 Samuel, Matthew, Acts and Romans. Go to the National Bible Bee to learn more about this exciting program. Plans are for this to be an annual event.

TOGETHER FOR LINCOLN

Lincoln Bible Church is one of the churches that participated in Together For Lincoln, a large Sunday service project that took place on September 28 of this year.

The next large work day will be on Sunday September 25. Also, there will be a follow up day on Saturday, October 2 for any projects that need to be completed. As a participating church, we will have volunteer forms and applications for work to be performed. Contact us if we can help in any way.
